Burial دفن

In a dream, whoever sees that he is dead and has been buried will travel a long journey and find no money.

Whoever sees that he was buried in a grave without having died: if he knows the one who buried him, that person will begin [to treat] him with injustice, oppression, harsh words or imprisonment. If he sees that he died in the grave after that, he will die in that worry; if he did not die, he will be saved from that worry, injustice and imprisonment. If he sees that he was handed over to the pit of the grave, [that person] will hand him over to destruction, though his name will be praised. If he lays him in the niche of the grave, he will obtain a house. If he levels the earth over him, he will obtain money in proportion to that. They said: whoever buries his master, his religion will be corrupted, unless he comes out of his grave after the burial. If the earth is heaped over him and the hands are shaken off, there is no hope of his repentance. If a person sees as though he is being buried alive, it is a bad sign for all people, for it signifies long imprisonment or severe punishment.

Whoever sees that one of the scholars or sages is buried in his house, and that he is alive, revived for him and brought out of his grave, will inherit from him in knowledge and wisdom and come to stand in his place. Likewise if he sees one of the prophets or one of the friends of God, he will inherit from him in his knowledge. Whoever is buried in a dream after sunrise, at noon or at sunset, it signifies commanding evil and forbidding good. As for the living burying the living, it is scheming and deception; it may signify the wealth of the one buried after his poverty, his marriage after being single, and his companionship after loneliness. The dead burying the living signifies being overwhelmed by debt in his state, and destitution, or being detained because of a guarantee. Burying the dead a second time in a dream is overlooking the wrong he committed. The dead burying the dead is union and pure affection among relatives. Burial may be prison, sickness, marriage, a deposit or a pledge.

Whoever sees that he died or was buried is without repentance; if he sees that he came out of the grave, he will repent. It is said that burial signifies marriage.

Whoever sees that he was buried without dying will be imprisoned and hard-pressed.
