Theriac (antidote) درياق

In a dream it is safety from fear. A man came to Ibn Sirin, may God the Exalted have mercy on him, and said: 'I saw in a dream that a snake bit me on the thumb of my hand and it swelled, so I took theriac and put it in my mouth, and the pain subsided and I recovered.' He said: 'You are a man who mixes with the dissolute.' He did not like the theriac, and said: 'I see you have taken refuge in something, I do not know what it is.'
