Blood دم

In a dream it is unlawful wealth, or a sin that leaves a person, or an act by which he sins. Whoever sees that he is wallowing in blood will become rich and roll about in unlawful wealth, or in a great sin, and will be preoccupied with it. If he sees blood on his shirt without knowing where it came from, lies will be told about him without his being aware of it. If he sees his shirt stained with a cat's blood, a thief will lie about him; if his shirt is stained with the blood of a beast of prey, a wrongful, oppressive ruler will lie about him; if it is stained with a ram's blood, a noble, rich and powerful man will lie about him, and after the lie he will obtain unlawful wealth in proportion to the amount of blood. Blood flowing from the skin is health and safety, and if he is away he will return from his journey safely.

(It is also said: whoever sees) that blood is coming out of his body and sees wounds on his body will obtain bodily health and an increase in wealth; if he is away he will return safely and obtain good, kindness and joy. If he sees that he drank a human being's blood, he will obtain wealth and benefit and be saved from every trial, affliction and hardship. It is also said: whoever drinks a human being's blood will refrain from a sin and be saved from it.

(Whoever sees) that he fell into a well of blood will be afflicted with bloodshed or with unlawful wealth.

(Whoever sees) a valley of blood in his neighborhood, his blood will be shed there.

(Whoever sees) blood on his garment, it is a lie told about him.

(Whoever sees) blood coming out of him without bloodletting, cupping or a wound, wealth equal to that blood will leave him if he has wealth; and if he is poor he will gain the like of it. Whoever falls into a vat of blood, a jar or a pit, that is blood (a feud or bloodshed) that will be stirred up against him. Blood in a jar is a menstruating woman, and if the mouth of the jar is tied with a rag, it is the menstrual cloth. Blood indicates its owner's life, his strength and his wealth, and whoever helps and supports him, such as a guardian or a king; or the clothing that covers him; or the praise or blame he earns. It may indicate unlawful wealth for one who consumes it. If excessive blood comes out of him in a dream, it indicates that the benefit he used to receive from whoever made him happy, a father, a child or a partner, becomes unattainable; or his wealth decreases; or he sells some of his clothing; or he parts with someone dear to him, a wife or another. A person's blood indicates his devil, who runs through him as blood runs, and who is in his house like an enemy. Blood may indicate what overcomes a person at death, like the blood that comes out of a sick person changing from red to blue or to yellow. If he drinks his own blood, worry and fatigue will befall him, or he will pay off a debt with another debt, as it is said: 'So-and-so washes blood with blood'; or he will defeat his enemy. Excessive bleeding is misery, and bleeding when there is a need for it, in a dream, is relief and the end of worry. Menstrual blood for an unmarried woman is a husband, for a pregnant woman a miscarriage, and for a woman past menopause an illness.
