Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Young man (youth) فتى

In a dream seeing him signifies good fortune, acceptance and victory over enemies, by analogy with the story of Abraham, peace be upon him, who broke the idols and made an example of them and defeated his people in their disputation. The Exalted said:

قَالُوا۟ سَمِعْنَا فَتًى يَذْكُرُهُمْ يُقَالُ لَهُۥٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمُ

“They said, "We heard a young man mention them who is called Abraham."”

Quran 21:60 · Saheeh International

Seeing him may signify enmity toward the people of transgression and victory over them. Seeing a handsome beardless young man may signify a pleasing matter, and seeing him may signify the fulfillment of needs, because it has come down in tradition: “Seek help for the fulfillment of your needs from bright faces.”

Whoever among beardless youths sees that a fine crop grew for him, he will grow a handsome beard on his cheeks. If he sees plants in a desolate land, people will find the growth of his beard unappealing. A handsome face may signify the full moon.

Whoever sees in a dream a beardless young man toying with him will fall into a trap or something to be wary of.

Whoever sees that he is toying with a beardless young man or trying to coax him, it is feared for him that he will fall into something shameful. If he is called in a dream a hadath [a youth; the word also means ritual impurity or an event], it may signify the occurrence of one of the two states of impurity, the minor or the major, affecting purification and prayer, or the occurrence of something good or bad according to the youth's beauty or ugliness.
