Vomiting قيء

Whoever sees in a dream that he vomited while fasting and then lapped it up owes a debt which he is able to pay but does not, and so he sins by it. If the vomit tastes good and comes easily, it is repentance and a willing return from his error; if it is hard for him and foul-tasting, his repentance and return will be against his will, because of a punishment inflicted on his body and a calamity in his wealth, his earnings and the like. Vomiting may also be its owner returning what he took without right, and that is repentance. If he vomits blood, he will repent of a sin or of unlawful wealth and render a trust that is upon his neck. If he drank pure wine and vomited it, he will obtain unlawful wealth, return it and repent of it. If he became drunk and vomited it, he is a stingy man who spends on his dependents only from the surplus, and when he spends he grumbles. If he drank milk and vomited milk and honey, it is repentance. If he swallowed pearls and vomited honey, he will interpret the Quran correctly. If he vomits milk, he will apostatize from Islam. If he drank blood and vomited milk and honey, it is repentance from sin and injustice and the return of wealth to a man. If he vomits a mouthful of yellow bile, he will turn back from his disobedience through punishment; if he vomits phlegm, he will turn back of his own accord; if he vomits food, he will give someone a gift; and if he swallows the vomit, he will take back his gift.

(Whoever sees) that he eats vomit will obtain wealth and good, or renown. If he vomits a great, profuse amount, he will die or come close to perishing.

(Whoever sees) that he vomited pure food, blood or phlegm, it indicates good and ease.

(Whoever sees) that he vomited a great deal of blood, it indicates wealth for a poor man, and it indicates a child to be born to the dreamer, or an absent relative returning from his journey. If the blood falls into a vessel, the child will be raised and will live, and the traveler will remain after his return; if it runs onto the ground, both will die quickly. If he sees his intestines coming out with the vomit, along with some of his entrails, that indicates the death of a child, whether the dreamer is a man or a woman; and for a sick person it indicates death. Vomiting is the cleaning out of a latrine or a channel. If he vomits a snake while sick, he will die; if he is in good health, he will part from an enemy. It is also said: vomiting is squandering money on food. All vomiting is a sign of good for the poor, but it is not praiseworthy for the rich; rather it is harm to their wealth. If a king sees that he vomited, he will return the levies to those who were wronged. Vomiting indicates returning deposits to their owners, divulging secrets, and the removal of the harm within him; and if he is sick, he will die.
