Tar (pitch) قطران

In a dream it is a man who restrains corrupters, because it kills worms. Whoever anoints himself with it or wears a garment of it will enter into sins, because of His saying, the Exalted, concerning the people of Hellfire:

سَرَابِيلُهُم مِّن قَطِرَانٍ وَتَغْشَىٰ وُجُوهَهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ

“Their garments of liquid pitch and their faces covered by the Fire”
