In a dream it is life, honour, manliness, authority, a trade, travel, a brother and a child. Whoever sees that he has put on a taylasan, or something white or of silk-wool (khazz) such as men wear, will lead men and armies in proportion to the newness of the taylasan; if he is not fit for that, he will become head of his household, support them and look after their interests. It is also said the taylasan is a journey by land. Whoever takes off his taylasan, his standing will vanish and he will be overpowered regarding his wealth.
(Whoever sees) his taylasan pierced or torn, a brother or a child of his will die. The taylasan is an office, or a folding of the tongue [ṭayy lisān, wordplay on ṭaylasān: holding one's tongue]. It is also said the taylasan is a good trade that protects its owner from worries and sorrows just as it protects from heat and cold. The taylasan is the paying off of a debt.
