Extinguishing fire طفي

Whoever puts out a fire in a dream suppresses civil strife, or abolishes a heretical innovation or a war. If he puts out an already-extinguished fire in his dream, that may signify stirring up evil, because of the ash and smoke that rise when it is put out. If the dreamer is travelling by sea, he will be drowned and float on the surface of the water [ṭafā = to float, wordplay on ṭafī]. If he has a traveller away, the traveller will come to him or he will hear news of him.
