Swearing an oath حلف

Whoever sees in his dream that he swore an oath to a man, that man will lure him with false promises and deceive him.

Whoever sees that he swore truthfully will triumph, say a true word, and a matter pleasing to God the Exalted will be accomplished by his hand. An oath by divorce is delusion and worry from the direction of the ruler.

If he sees that he swore falsely, he will be forsaken and will incur great sin and regret, and humiliation, decline and abasement will befall him, and he will become worthless in people's eyes. If he swore figuratively, or someone swore to him, it is scheming and deception. If in a dream he swore by the cross, the stars, the sea and the like, it signifies inclination toward error or hypocrisy or distortion in speech. If he swore by God, Mighty and Majestic, or by what requires expiation, it signifies following the truth and following the Sunna.
