Surat Yunus (Jonah) سورة يونس

(peace be upon him). Whoever recites it in a dream, or some of it, or has it recited over him: Abu Bakr al-Siddiq said he will suffer a loss in some of his wealth. Ja'far al-Sadiq, may God be pleased with him, said he will love solitude and will find excuses in [or: amuse himself with] women. Some said he will be granted knowledge and sound certainty, and God Almighty will repel from him the plots of schemers and the magic of sorcerers; and if a sick person recites it, God Almighty will heal him. It is also said that whoever recites it will renounce worldly things.
