Surat al-Anfal (The Spoils of War) سورة الأنفال

Whoever recites it in a dream, or some of it, or has it recited over him: Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with him and his father, said he will be crowned with honor and be victorious. Ja'far al-Sadiq, may God be pleased with him, said the same and added that he will be sound in his religion. Ibn Fadala said that if he is a king he will be granted victory, and if he is a scholar he will be pious. Some scholars said he will be granted victory over his enemies and take spoils from them. It is also said he will be granted lawful money through spoils of war, and the Prophet (God bless him and grant him peace) will intercede for him on the Day of Resurrection.
