Surat al-A'raf (The Heights) سورة الأعراف

Whoever recites it in a dream, or some of it, or has it recited over him: Nafi' and Ibn Kathir said he will be granted retention of every kind of knowledge and will die a stranger [far from home]. It is said he will be a believer who affirms the religion, and his foot will tread on Mount Sinai. It is said that whoever recites it will travel and then return quickly, will be shielded from Iblis and his schemes, and Adam (peace be upon him) will intercede for him on the Day of Resurrection. It is also said that reciting Surat al-A'raf is gloating over an enemy and seeing him in the worst condition.
