Stretching (yawning stretch) تمطى

In a dream it is weariness of a matter and laziness in work.

Whoever sees a man stretching, the stretch of Satan, from [too much] eating, he will be someone who relies [on others], transgressing and overbearing in his affairs. If the one stretching is dead, the interpretation of the dream applies to his living descendants. Stretching in a dream indicates arrogance, boasting and lack of religion, because of His saying, the Exalted:

فَلَا صَدَّقَ وَلَا صَلَّىٰ ۝ وَلَـٰكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ ۝ ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ يَتَمَطَّىٰٓ

“And he [i.e., the disbeliever] had not believed, nor had he prayed. But [instead], he denied and turned away. And then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride].”

Quran 75:31–33 · Saheeh International

Stretching in a dream may indicate rest after toil. If the dreamer is sick, there is fear for him; and if he is healthy, he will fall ill, especially if yawning accompanies the stretching.
