If a person's name changes into another in a dream, it is interpreted by its omen: Sa'd ["happiness"] signifies happiness, and Salim ["safe"] signifies safety. If it changes into the name of someone with a defect, such as blindness or lameness, he will be afflicted with that.

Whoever sees that he is called by a name other than his own: if he is called by an ugly name, a shameful fault or a grievous illness will appear in him; and if he is called by a good name, he will attain might, honor and dignity according to what the meaning of that name requires.
