Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

A Person Eating أكل الإنسان

In a dream, eating from a vessel is contentment and firmness, unless the vessel is a forbidden one, such as a vessel of silver or gold, in which case it is unlawful money and excessive debts. Eating in front of people is (shameless) appetite. Chewing what is normally swallowed is negligence in earning and work; swallowing what should be chewed is debt and the hastening of one's appointed term. If the taste changed into something better than it, it signifies inner righteousness; if it changed into bitterness or sourness, it signifies a change of spouses and of work. If he ate with his right hand, he is following the Sunnah; if he ate with his left hand, he will obey his enemy and turn away from his friend. If he took morsels from someone else's hand, he will be granted chastity and reliance on God; or he may fall ill and be unable to take food with his own hand. If it is of a lowly kind of food, his standing will decline. Eating truffles is command and prohibition, deliberateness, increased lifespan, cure for the sick, marriage for the unmarried, knowledge, guidance, provision, a craft, and illness. Eating gourd is a sign of guidance, following the Sunnah, and intelligence.

(Whoever sees) that someone invited him to the morning meal, his dream signifies a long journey. If he invited him to eat at midday, he will rest from toil. If he invited him to the evening meal, he will deceive a man and scheme against him before that man deceives him.

(Whoever sees) that he ate food and digested it will be keen in striving at his trade.

(Whoever sees) that he ate his own flesh will consume from his own wealth and his savings. If he ate someone else's flesh, then if it was raw, he is backbiting him or one of his relatives; if it was cooked or roasted, he will consume someone else's wealth.
