Eavesdropping استراق السمع

In a dream it is lying and talebearing; the eavesdropper may become disliked by the ruler. As for listening: whoever sees as if he is listening, if he is a merchant he will withdraw from a sale contract, and if he is a governor he will be dismissed. If he sees as if he is listening in on a person, he wants to tear away his cover and disgrace him.

Whoever sees as if he hears various sayings and follows the best of them will receive glad tidings. If he sees as if he hears and pretends that he does not hear, he lies and is in the habit of it.
