Lice قمل

In a dream they are worldly goods together with money. If the lice are in a new shirt, it is the renewal of office for one who was a governor, or money expected to increase. If the shirt is worn out, it is debt that may increase. Lice on the ground are weak people: if they crawl around him, he mixes and associates with them; if he dislikes them, they are his enemies but are unable to harm him; if they bite him, they are weak slanderers.

Whoever sees a louse fly from his chest, his hired worker, his servant or his child has run away from him. If he sees a large louse come out of his body and go away from him, his life will depart. It is also said that lice are a woman, or servants, or a likeness, or a child, or illness, or an army, or soldiers, or an enemy, or grief, or troops, or a ruler, or servant-boys. For kings they are armies, servants and enemies; for ministers, retainers; for police chiefs, assistants; for scholars, students; for merchants, greedy associates; for craftsmen, people demanding what he owes; for judges, those attached to them; and for the sick, a long illness. If he sees that he cut a louse in two, he will be kind to his dependents. If he sees that he threw away a living louse, he will do something contrary to the Sunna, because the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade that. If he sees that he ate a louse, he will backbite those we mentioned in the interpretation of lice. Many lice are torment. Lice are dependents, and low, base, talebearing people who sow discord among relatives and brothers.

Whoever sees many lice in his clothes or on his body will attain good, blessing and grace, and deliverance from all griefs and sorrows.

Whoever sees lice and is killing them, it signifies his deliverance from every worry. If he sees many lice, it signifies a long illness, loss and poverty; and killing them is relief for the distressed from his distress and deliverance from the hardship he is in. If he wakes from sleep thinking that the lice are attacking him, he will not be saved. Whoever picks lice from his garment will have an outrageous lie told about him. Whoever is bitten by lice, weak people will cast words at him. Whoever is made to itch by lice will be pressed for a debt. Eating lice signifies subduing enemies. Lice signify worries and imprisonment. Wheat lice [weevils] are a punishment, because they were among the signs of Moses, peace be upon him.
