Cat قط

In a dream it signifies a written record, because of His saying, the Exalted:

وَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا عَجِّل لَّنَا قِطَّنَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ ٱلْحِسَابِ

“And they say, "Our Lord, hasten for us our share [of the punishment] before the Day of Account."”

Quran 38:16 · Saheeh International

[a wordplay: qitt, cat, and qittana, our record/portion]. It signifies a person who is gentle in speech and who endears himself to people's hearts by leaping and dancing, while all the while eyeing things, and when he finds an opportunity, he does damage. This was treated fully earlier under the letter Sin, under sinnawr [cat].
