Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Inkwell دواة

In a dream it signifies honor, power and elevation in proportion to its value. It signifies a wife, wealth and a female servant, marriage, benefit through a woman, and importance through a child.

Whoever sees that he obtained an inkwell will quarrel with a relative, a woman or someone else; if there is a witness of good, he will marry a female relative of his.

Whoever sees that he bought an ink-pot will marry a woman with whom he will not see a single bright day, because his pen comes out of it only with ink and blackness. The inkwell [dawat] may signify joy, the pen iron, and the ink [midad] pus [mudda], for one who sees a place on his body has become an inkwell from which he draws with the pen.

Whoever sees that he is writing on his page will receive an inheritance. As for medicine [dawa', a play on dawat], whoever sees it while he has an illness has been urged to seek treatment, and he will recover, God the Exalted willing.
