In a dream it is a man's beneficence, and its back is his support. The right hand is the dreamer's strength, his livelihood, his earnings, his wealth and his kindness.
(Whoever sees) that his hand grew long and strong: if he is a governor, it is victory over his enemies and the strength of his helpers and commanders, their effectiveness in their affairs, their prevailing, their obedience to him wherever he directs and sends them, and his helping them against whoever opposes them. The hand for a market trader is his skill and cleverness. If he sees that another hand was joined to his hand: if he is a governor, he will come to possess as many lands and armies as he already possesses and obtain one state after another; likewise the merchant and the market trader; or a brother or son may be born to him, or an absent person may return to him. If he sees that he sees with his hand as he sees with his eye, he will often touch those whom it is not lawful for him to touch. If he sees that his hands are open wide, he is a generous man who spends all his money. If he sees that he is walking on his hands, he relies on his brother, his child or his partner in something he seeks. If he sees that his right hand is of gold (dhahab), his earnings, his power and his might will go (dhahaba). If he sees that his right hand spoke to him and said, "Well done," his livelihood will be good. If he sees that his left hand spoke to him, his brothers, his wife or his partner will reject him. If their speech is rebuke, it is ugliness of deeds; if it is admonition, it is a warning; and if it is glad tidings, it is success. If he sees that he put his hand under his armpit and brought it out shining with light: if he is a seeker of knowledge, he will obtain leadership in his knowledge; if he is a sultan, he will obtain authority over it; if he is a merchant, he will obtain leadership, renown and truthfulness; and if he is a market trader or craftsman, he will obtain leadership and renown. If fire came out of his hand: if he is a seeker of knowledge, he will obtain authority and eloquence in his knowledge; if he is a governor, he will obtain sovereignty, strength and dominance; and if he is a merchant, he will obtain dominance in his trade, and likewise the market trader and the craftsman. If water came out of his hand, he will obtain money. The two hands signify rank and power, and they signify sound deeds for one who takes and gives with his hands. The right hand signifies a son, a father, a friend, or a companion who holds the place of the right hand with you; the left hand signifies a wife, mother, sister, daughter or slave girl. If he sees the loss of one of his hands, it signifies losing some of those whom that hand signifies. The two hands together signify the crafts that are done by hand, and writing and speech, because crafts are done by hand, and so is writing, and because the hand moves when speaking. The hand signifies a child, a brother, wealth, a wife, a partner and a friend.
(Whoever sees) his hand cut off and separated from him, it signifies the death of his brother, his friend or his scribe, or the ending of the bond and affection between them.

(Whoever sees) that his hands are clenched, it signifies his stinginess.
(Whoever sees) that he is walking on his hands will make use of them for his livelihood.
(Whoever sees) that he is cutting his hands with a knife will marvel at something, based on the words of God Most High:
“So when she heard of their scheming, she sent for them and prepared for them a banquet and gave each one of them a knife and said [to Joseph], "Come out before them." And when they saw him, they greatly admired him and cut their hands and said, "Perfect is Allāh! This is not a man; this is none but a noble angel."”

(Whoever sees) that he is eating his hand or biting it will do something he regrets, or will be a wrongdoer, based on the words of God Most High:
وَيَوْمَ يَعَضُّ ٱلظَّالِمُ عَلَىٰ يَدَيْهِ يَقُولُ يَـٰلَيْتَنِى ٱتَّخَذْتُ مَعَ ٱلرَّسُولِ سَبِيلًا
