In a dream it is a slave girl or a boy. It is also said rather that it is a woman, because of his saying, God bless him and grant him peace: “Be gentle with the glass vessels” [meaning women]. The flask is a woman who does not keep a secret, or a friend who spreads gossip. It may signify illness.
Whoever sees a flask containing oil: the flask is a woman and the oil is her adornment. If he anoints his head with that oil, it is an adornment for him if it is of a suitable amount; if it runs down over him, worry and distress will befall him in his affairs. Broken glass is money: whoever sees that he is carrying some of it, it is money. The wine bottle is a servant woman who goes back and forth transporting money. Flasks may signify men of different races. Flasks may signify tale-bearing and prying into secrets, and people who have neither loyalty nor affection.
Whoever sees that a flask broke, a trial [fitna] will depart from his house. A man said to me: “Last night I saw that a dead man from among our relatives said to me, ‘Hand me this bottle that has wine in it,’ so I handed it to him, and he drank from it, then gave it back to me.” I said to him: “This is a pregnant woman who will come close to death, then recover by God the Exalted's leave.” He said: “Yes, my sister gave birth and was close to death from a difficult labor, then she recovered.”
