Village قرية

In a dream it is injustice and destruction, because of His saying, the Exalted:

وَلَمَّا جَآءَتْ رُسُلُنَآ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ بِٱلْبُشْرَىٰ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا مُهْلِكُوٓا۟ أَهْلِ هَـٰذِهِ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ ۖ إِنَّ أَهْلَهَا كَانُوا۟ ظَـٰلِمِينَ

“And when Our messengers [i.e., angels] came to Abraham with the good tidings, they said, "Indeed, we will destroy the people of that [i.e., Lot's] city. Indeed, its people have been wrongdoers."”

Quran 29:31 · Saheeh International

Whoever sees that he entered a fortified village will fight someone else or kill him.

Whoever sees that he is passing from a town to a village is choosing a lowly matter over a lofty one, or he has done a praiseworthy deed that he thinks is not praiseworthy and regrets it, or he has done good that he thinks is evil and turns back from it, while not being certain. If he sees that he entered a village, he will take charge of authority or enter into a pious work. If he left a village, he will escape from a hardship [reading shidda for mudda] and find rest. If he sees a flourishing village ruined and well-known farmlands abandoned, it is misguidance or calamity for their owners; seeing it flourishing is soundness in religion, and seeing ancient buildings is soundness in religion and repentance. A known village signifies itself, its people, and what comes from it and is known by it. The village may signify the abode of injustice, innovations, corruption and departure from the community. The village may signify an anthill, and an anthill signifies a village. Whoever demolishes a village or ruins it, or sees it ruined with its people gone, or swept away by a flood, or burned by fire: if it is a known village, the ruler will oppress it, and that may signify locusts, hail, blights and epidemics; otherwise he will block up an ant-hole in the ceiling of the house, and likewise the reverse.

Whoever sees that he is leaving a village, that is soundness for him in religion.

Whoever sees that he is moving from a village to a city will move from toil to rest and from fear to safety.

Whoever sees that he is moving from a city to a village, it is the opposite: he will move from rest to toil and from safety to fear.
