Dressed stone (cut stone) حجر منحوت

If one builds with it in a dream [it signifies honor]. Baked brick signifies honor, good fortune, long hope and safety from fear; and chaste, well-guarded wives; and whatever brings people's affection to him, such as a scholar, a physician, a dream interpreter and an astrologer.

If he sees mud brick in place of dressed stone, it signifies humiliation, loss of position, a change of wives, or the death of the owner of the building; just as baked brick in place of building with mud brick or potsherds signifies loftiness, elevation and provisions. Thresholds of [ordinary] stone in place of thresholds of marble are humiliation and destitution; and likewise columns and foundations when they appear in a dream in place of [marble] columns and foundations. If marble graves turn into [ordinary] stone, it signifies a change in the state of what the deceased endowed, or a change in the state of his heirs.
