Whoever sees in a dream that he came down from a mountain, it is good. Descending may indicate God's displeasure, because of His saying, Glorified is He:
فَأَزَلَّهُمَا ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ عَنْهَا فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِمَّا كَانَا فِيهِ ۖ وَقُلْنَا ٱهْبِطُوا۟ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ ۖ وَلَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُسْتَقَرٌّ وَمَتَـٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ
“But Satan caused them to slip out of it and removed them from that [condition] in which they had been. And We said, "Go down, [all of you], as enemies to one another, and you will have upon the earth a place of settlement and provision for a time."”

Descending from the sky after ascending to it is humiliation after honor; it is also said that it is obtaining worldly blessings through a position of leadership in religion.
(Whoever sees) descending from the mountain will obtain relief. It is also said that it indicates a change in affairs and the impossibility of attaining what is desired.
(Whoever sees) that he came down from a high place, a roof or a palace will turn back from a state he was in.
(Whoever sees) that he is coming down an old ladder will lose in his trade and make no profit in it; and if the ladder breaks while he is on it, his opponent will be given victory over him.
