In a dream, charcoal from trees is an important man. It is said it is unlawful money, and it is said it is provision coming from the ruler.
Whoever sees that fire has crept into charcoal is a man put to trial whom the ruler has wronged and whose money he has seized by force. Burnt-out charcoal that is of no use is, like ashes, a futile matter. Large charcoal for someone who needs small pieces signifies worry, toil and hardship in one's circumstances; small pieces for someone who needs large ones are a depletion of wealth. Charcoal may also signify the reviving of natural bodily heat. Charcoal in winter is interpreted as money.
It is said that anything kindled in fire is a sign of immorality.
