Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Cat (she-cat) هرة

In a dream it is a servant who guards the person. If it snatches something from him, he will suffer a loss, or be tried with family members or children who are thieves, or a creditor who deals with him and withholds his money. A cat that is calm is a year in which there is rest and joy; if it is wild and very harmful, it is a troubled year with toil and weariness in it. Whoever sells a cat spends his money. It is said the cat indicates a deceitful woman. The cat's scratching and biting is the servant's betrayal; it is said a cat's bite is an illness of a full year, and likewise its scratch. The rest of this was given earlier under the letter Sin in ‘Sinnawr’ and under the letter Qaf in ‘Qitt’.
