Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Butcher قصاب

In a dream he is the Angel of Death. Whoever sees him and takes a knife from him will fall ill and recover, and will gain strength in his life.

Whoever sees that he has slaughtered his father, it is dutifulness and keeping of family ties, so long as he sees no blood. If he sees a king slaughtering his subjects, he is oppressing them. If he sees that he slaughtered an animal not for meat or food that he wants or needs, but only out of frivolity, his affairs between himself and God the Exalted are confused. Seeing the butchers who cut up meat and sell it in the markets signifies hardship and harm. For the sick they signify a swift death; for the rich, harm that befalls them along with hardship; for the frightened, intense fear; and for the debtor and the one bound [in prison], the paying off of the debt and the loosening of the bonds. It is also said that the butcher is a shedder of blood, and it is also said he is a man of the sword. Seeing the butcher is, for the worried and the imprisoned, a sign of good and relief, because he separates the limbs and frees them from one another. Whoever kills a butcher will be saved from illness. The butcher in a dream also signifies the owner of a ship, and one who divides wealth among heirs and orphans.
