In a dream, if it is coarse, it is a disobedient servant; a soft one is a servant who serves the servants. The broom indicates a slave girl. Whoever sees that he swept his house with a broom, if he is rich, poverty is feared for him. It is said that sweeping the house indicates the death of a sick person in it, or moving from it to another, or the scattering of his wealth away from him. If he sweeps land and gathers its refuse or its plants, he will gain money from the countryside if he has property there; otherwise he will be a tax collector, a tithe collector, or a poor beggar who goes around. Seeing a broom may indicate the removal of worry and trouble and the paying off of debt.
