Breaking wind (flatulence) ضراط

In a dream it is bad speech, or a calamity that befalls the one who does it.

Whoever sees that wind came out of him with a sound will speak an ugly word.

Whoever sees that he was among people and broke wind involuntarily, relief will come to him from grief and hardship, but with some disgrace in it. If he broke wind deliberately with a loud sound and a stench, he will speak ugly words or do an ugly deed and will receive bad repute in proportion to its stench and public disgrace in proportion to its sound. If it had a stench without a sound, it is bad repute without public disgrace, in proportion to its stench. If he broke wind among people who are in grief or worry, they will be relieved; if they are in trade, they will profit from it; if in hardship, it will turn to ease. If he breaks wind with effort, he will pay what he cannot afford; if he breaks wind easily, he will pay what he can afford. If he sees that he broke wind and a wind [breeze] accompanied it, he will obtain honor and elevation on a journey, but his affairs will be scattered; his worries will clear and he will return safely. Breaking wind through the mouth in a dream signifies slips in speech, or something that happens to the mouth, such as a defect that disfigures it or bad habits that shame him.
