Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Borrowed item (loan of a thing) عارية

(Whoever sees) in a dream that he borrowed something of value, it signifies a fine in proportion to the value of what he borrowed. Likewise, if he lends in a dream, he may obtain a gain in proportion to the value of what he lent. A loan, if its nature is unknown, may signify the world coming toward him. A loan ['ariya] may signify disgrace ['ar] which one should guard against for fear of temptation.

(Whoever sees) that he borrowed or lent something: if that thing is something liked, he will obtain a good that will not last; if it is something disliked, he will be struck by something unpleasant that will not last, because a loan does not endure. It is also said that whoever borrows a riding animal from a man, the lender will bear the borrower's expenses.
