Blacksmith حداد

In a dream he is a great king or an awe-inspiring ruler, in proportion to his strength and his skill in his work. The blacksmith is the Angel of Death. Iron is his might and his strength, because of His saying, the Exalted:

“We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance that the people may maintain [their affairs] in justice. And We sent down iron, wherein is great military might and benefits for the people, and so that Allāh may make evident those who support Him and His messengers unseen. Indeed, Allāh is Powerful and Exalted in Might.”

Quran 57:25 · Saheeh International

The benefits are the goods, vessels and things people make use of, and the might is the softening of iron in his hand so that he makes whatever he wishes: if he wishes, he makes an axe, a sword, a knife or something else. So if the blacksmith makes what he wants from iron, he will obtain a great kingdom.

Whoever sees that he is a blacksmith, the iron has softened for him and he is making tools from it: if the man is of a royal family, or [royalty] was among his ancestors, he will attain kingship; one does not look at his weakness but interprets according to his ancestors. The unknown blacksmith is a great ruler or king in proportion to his importance and his strength in working iron. Seeing him signifies evils and miseries and the prevention of extravagance; seeing him may signify the easing of what is difficult, and it may signify a bad man who does the deeds of the people of the Fire. If it is said in a dream that so-and-so was brought up to a blacksmith, or his case was referred to him: if he is in good health, an incident will befall him that will force him to [go to] the ruler or to someone who takes refuge [with him]; otherwise he will sit with a man in whom there is no good — so how much worse if some of his smoke or sparks strike him and harm his eyesight, his garment or his cloak. As for one who becomes a blacksmith in his dream, he will attain from its aspects what befits him, according to the confirming signs. The blacksmith signifies everyone who earns his living by fire, such as the cook, the baker, the coppersmith and those like them. Whoever goes in to a blacksmith and sits with him, if he is sick or dead, will go to the Fire, especially if his clothes or his face are black; and [otherwise] he will enter prison, because the Arabs call the jailer haddad [blacksmith].
