Bedding (mattress, bed) فراش

In a dream, bedding is a woman (a wife). Whoever sells his bedding will divorce his wife, and if she is ill she will die.

Whoever sees a dog or a pig on his bed, a corrupt man is betraying him with his wife. Bedding is also a slave girl, and it is rest. The softness of the bedding is the wife’s obedience and compliance to her husband, its width is her good character, and its newness is her youth, or her freshness in her old age. If the bedding is of wool, hair or cotton, she is a well-off woman; if it is of silk brocade, she is a Zoroastrian woman; if it is white, she is a religious woman; if it is black, she does something with which God the Exalted is not pleased; and if it is green, she is a woman of religion, worship, devotion and chastity. Bedding also indicates the keeping of concubines and freed servant women.

Whoever sees that he bought bedding will marry a woman; if it is new, she is a beautiful, modest woman. If his bedding is torn, his wife is a corrupt woman, neither righteous nor religious. If he sees that his bedding has been moved from its place, he will divorce his wife.

If he sees that his bedding is at the door of a ruler, he will take up a great office. An unknown bed in an unknown place is land that the dreamer will acquire, in proportion to the bed’s size. Bedding also indicates the child, because of the Prophet’s saying (peace be upon him): “The child belongs to the bed (i.e., to the husband).”

Whoever sees soundness or damage, increase or decrease, in his bedding, its interpretation applies to his wife.

Whoever sees that he is leaving his bedding and taking other bedding will leave his wife and marry another. If he sees other bedding together with his own, he will marry another woman.

Whoever sees that his bedding has moved from its place, his wife will change from her condition to another, and the difference between the two conditions will be as great as the distance between the two places.

Whoever sees that he moves away from his bed from one place to another will flee from his women in every place.

Whoever sees that he folded up his bedding and put it aside will be absent from his wife, or she will be absent from him, or he will avoid her, or something similar; and if there is something in his dream that indicates deceit, it is a divorce that will occur between them, or one of them will die.

Whoever sees himself sitting on known or unknown bedding, with the bedding on a bedstead made of unknown planks, will attain authority in which he employs men and subdues them.

Whoever sees himself sleeping on bedding will be safe from what he fears, though he may be heedless in his religion, because sleep is heedlessness.
