Window (wall opening) طاقة

In a dream, a window opening, if it is wide, indicates a wife’s good character, and a narrow one indicates her bad character. If a man sees himself sitting in a window opening, he will divorce his wife openly; and if his place is inside the window recess, his wife is divorced from him in secret. Window openings in the house indicate watchers who are privy to secrets, relief from worries and troubles, and renewed comforts coming from the directions in which they were seen. They may also indicate hearing news, and women and children.

Whoever sees in a dream that he has windows of colored glass, this indicates planting trees and ripening fruit, and the renewal of children, or of knowledge, or of colored or dyed clothing, or of crowns for those entitled to them.

Whoever sees himself sitting in a vaulted (arched) window has resolved to conclude a marriage contract for himself (the Arabic ‘arch’ and ‘contract’ share the same root).
