Theft سرقة

The thief in a dream is the Angel of Death (peace be upon him) if he is unknown. If he is known, the thief will gain from the one robbed some knowledge, craft or word that he benefits from. If he sees an unknown thief enter his house and steal his basin, his wife will die; likewise if he steals her wrap, or his kettle, or anything associated with women, it signifies the death of his wife. The same applies if the thing stolen is associated with servants. If he sees that his dirhams were stolen and the thief is known, he is a tale-bearer who spreads tales. If the thief is unknown and is an old man, his friend will spread tales about him; and if he is a young man, his enemy will spread tales about him. It is also said that theft is praiseworthy and a sign of good, except for one who intends to deceive.

Whoever sees that he is acting as a thief or stealing, thieves are to be feared for him. Theft may also be an act of disobedience that the thief commits.
