Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Pre-dawn (sahar) سحر الليل

It is the last part of the night. Whoever sees it in a dream and says, "It is as though I have reached the pre-dawn," may bewitch or be bewitched [a play on sahar, "pre-dawn," and sihr, "sorcery"], or he may fall into a sin that requires seeking forgiveness, because of His saying, the Exalted:

وَبِٱلْأَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ

“And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness,”
