Strangling (choking) خناق

Whoever sees in a dream that he is being strangled has been compelled to take on a trust. If it is from an illness, he is being punished for the injustice he earned. If the choking becomes severe, he will be asked to pay for what he benefited from that trust or office. If he dies, he will be overpowered and become poor. If he comes back to life after dying, he will become poor, then God the Exalted will compensate him, he will become rich and triumph over whoever wronged him. If a person sees that he is strangling himself by hanging, that signifies sorrow and grief, and also signifies that he will not stay in his house or in the place where he saw himself so. The disease of quinsy, if it seizes the throat, signifies the closing of his place of rest or his shop. Strangling may signify being pressed for a debt and being hard-pressed over it.
