Cheek خد

The two cheeks signify what a person adorns himself with or loves. The cheeks may signify one who kisses them, so whatever happens to them signifies the corruption of the state of the one who kisses them. The cheek may signify humiliation and wretchedness if it is covered in dirt or dust; for people of religion this is an increase and elevation with God the Exalted, because it is one of the traits of those who pray at night.
