Sling (slingshot) مقلاع

In a dream, if it is brought in to a sick person, it indicates his being uprooted [qal'] from his place. It may indicate the dismissal of an official and desisting [iqla'] from forbidden things, or it is a messenger.

(Whoever sees) that he threw a stone at a person with a sling, the dreamer is invoking against the one struck, in a matter of right, with hardness of heart.

(Whoever sees) that women pelted him, sorcerers are plotting against him. The sling is true speech delivered harshly.

(Whoever sees) a sling in his hand without throwing, he has resolved to speak words about a matter of right, with harshness in them. It is said that a sling, if it is not used to throw, indicates repentance and desisting from sins.
