Separating a thing (prying apart, setting free) فك الشيء

In a dream it is estrangement within a group. Separating (fakk) is the freeing of a neck [i.e. freeing a slave], and it signifies rebuke for withholding and stinginess, because of His saying, the Exalted:

فَكُّ رَقَبَةٍ ۝ أَوْ إِطْعَـٰمٌ فِى يَوْمٍ ذِى مَسْغَبَةٍ

“It is the freeing of a slave Or feeding on a day of severe hunger”
