In a dream, whoever sees that he has mounted a riding animal is riding an overpowering passion; riding any animal is might and authority. If he sees that he rode a horse and did not ride it well, he is riding a passion; if he rode well and controlled it, he will be safe. If he sees that he rode a horse with all its gear, and he has a house, servants and retinue befitting the house, that is might from his forefathers and a kingdom that will reach him and that he will attain. If he sees that he rode on a man's neck by force, he will die and the one ridden will carry his bier against his will; if he rode him with the man's consent, the one ridden will bear the rider's expenses and harm. It is said it is seeking a difficult matter; if [the mount] throws him and he leaves it, that matter will not be completed.
