Quails (salwa, heavenly food) سلوى

In a dream it is good provision from God the Exalted. It is also said salwa is a two-faced man. Salwa in a dream signifies the warding off of worry and misery and of a sudden attack from an enemy, and the fulfillment of a promise. Seeing it may also signify ingratitude for blessings, loss of office and a straitened life. [Note: salwa is the quail-food sent down to the Children of Israel; the word also suggests "solace".]
