Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Priest (soothsayer) كاهن

In a dream he signifies faith and renunciation of the world and of doubtful things; also an imam who is followed for his practice, or a sage from whose opinion and judgment no one departs. The kahin [soothsayer] is also a man of falsehoods and delusion who looks only to himself.

Whoever sees that he has become a priest, or that he reaches the rank of the priests from among the common people, that is a sign of good for all people and a sign of elevation and fame.

Whoever sees that he speaks the speech of soothsayers, astrologers and the like, or speaks to them in their language, that is the falsehoods and delusions of this world; and believing such things, in dreams or in waking life, is ignorance in religion.
