In a dream it is wealth. Whoever sees that he is poor will obtain plenty of food, because of His saying, the Exalted:

فَسَقَىٰ لَهُمَا ثُمَّ تَوَلَّىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلظِّلِّ فَقَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّى لِمَآ أَنزَلْتَ إِلَىَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ

“So he watered [their flocks] for them; then he went back to the shade and said, "My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need."”

Quran 28:24 · Saheeh International

It is said that the "good" here is barley bread.

Whoever sees that he is a poor man begging from people will be someone who prays much, because beggars pray much. It is said that beggars in a place signify the death of a rich man and charity being given out. If he gives to a beggar in the dream, he will obtain money without toil, because earning by begging is profit without capital and taking without giving. And it is said:

Whoever sees that he is poor will obtain good.
