Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Month (the months of the year) شهر

Muharram: if the dream takes place in it, it is true and does not fail. Seeing it in a dream signifies relief, release from prison and recovery from illnesses. If the dreamer has withdrawn from his people or his town, he will return to them, by analogy with the story of Jonah, peace be upon him, and his coming out of the belly of the whale. He may witness a great upheaval, either the death of a just ruler or the appearance of a scholar, because God the Exalted created Adam and Eve, peace be upon them, in it. If the dreamer is a sinner, he will repent to God the Exalted, because God the Exalted accepted Adam's repentance, peace be upon him, in it. If the dreamer is one who hopes for rank and honor, he will attain it, because in it God the Exalted raised Idris, peace be upon him, to a lofty place. If the dreamer is traveling by sea and the wind fails him or he fears drowning, he and those with him will be saved, because in it the Ark came to rest on Mount Judi. If the dreamer hopes for a child, he will be granted a righteous child, because in it Abraham and Jesus, peace be upon them, were born. If the dreamer is in hardship, it will be relieved, or he will be saved from his enemy, because in it God the Exalted saved Abraham, peace be upon him, from the fire of Nimrod. The dreamer may turn back from his heresy and misguidance, repent to God the Exalted and give up his sins, because in it God the Exalted accepted the repentance of David, peace be upon him. If the dreamer has been dismissed from his office, he will return to his position, because in it God the Exalted restored the kingdom to Solomon, peace be upon him. If he is poor or ill, he will be cured of his illness and God the Exalted will make him rich, because in it God the Exalted removed the affliction from Job, peace be upon him. The dreamer may be sent [as an envoy] to kings and those allied with them, or obtain a share from them, because in it God the Exalted spoke to Moses, peace be upon him. And a land of the unbelievers may be conquered for the Muslims, and the Muslims may gain much booty in it.
