Menstruation حيض

In a dream, if a man sees that he is menstruating, he will commit something forbidden.

If a woman sees that she is menstruating, she is in a sin or a confused state; if she bathes, she will repent of the sin and her worry will go.

If a woman who has ceased menstruating sees that, she will be granted a child, because of His saying, the Exalted:

وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ قَآئِمَةٌ فَضَحِكَتْ فَبَشَّرْنَـٰهَا بِإِسْحَـٰقَ وَمِن وَرَآءِ إِسْحَـٰقَ يَعْقُوبَ

“And his wife was standing, and she smiled. Then We gave her good tidings of Isaac and after Isaac, Jacob.”

Quran 11:71 · Saheeh International

and 'laughing' [dahk] in the language [also means] menstruation.

If she sees that she has irregular non-menstrual bleeding [istihada], she is in a sin and wants to free herself from it, but deliverance is not possible for her, because it has become her nature and she cannot give it up except after great effort; if she repents, she will not stay firm in her repentance. Likewise if a man sees that.

It is said that if a man sees that he is menstruating, he lies.
