Madness (insanity) جنون

In a dream it is wealth and honor, even if it is without a [visible] cause. It signifies the coming of worldly fortune, and joys and delights through someone with whom one hopes to be connected. If he staggers in the dream from being touched [by a demon], it signifies consuming usury. It is said that madness [junun] signifies entering Paradise [janna]. Madness is wealth that comes to its owner in proportion to his madness, unless he spends it with an improper degree of extravagance alongside a bad companion. It is said that it is clothing from an inheritance, and it is said that it is authority for one who is fit for it. A boy's madness is his father's wealth, and a woman's madness is a fertile year. Madness signifies passionate love; madness signifies a painful beating; and madness also signifies good deeds.
