Cheese جبن

It is what is made from milk. In a dream it signifies the marriage contract for a bachelor, a child for a pregnant woman, profitable wealth and long life. Seeing cheese, for a fighter or a litigant, is defeat for him and cowardice [jubn, same word as cheese] in facing [the opponent]. What is made from fresh milk, such as beestings [liba'], signifies the safe delivery of a pregnant woman. Curdled milk-cheese signifies blessing and provision, though something of usury may enter into it because of the rennet. Cheese is wealth with ease. Cheese, especially fresh, is better than dry, and is ready money for the dreamer and a fertile year. It is said that dry cheese is travel, and it is said that a single cheese is a purse of money. Whoever sees as though he is eating bread with cheese, his livelihood will be meager. It is said that whoever eats cheese with bread and walnuts will be struck by a sudden illness. Cheese is wealth without toil, and each mold of it is a thousand dirhams or a hundred, according to the condition of the dreamer. Cheese may signify humiliation and wretchedness. Dry cheese is provision while traveling, and fresh cheese is provision at home.
