Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Large earthen jar (storage jar) خابية

The interpretation of every storage jar is according to its kind, such as the water-jar [hubb] and the large pitcher [zir]. It signifies the caretaker of the house, his storehouse and his shop, and his pregnant wife. The water-skin signifies something like what the large pitcher signifies. The storage jar is a free woman, and drinking from it is money gained through her. Whoever sees that he drew water and poured it into a storage jar will use a ruse to get money that a woman will deposit [with him]. A wine jar is finding a treasure. The water-jar, if there is water in it and it is in a house, is a rich, grief-stricken woman. If the water-jar is by the water-wheel channel, he is a man of much wealth who spends much in the way of God. The jar, if there is vinegar in it, is a man of scrupulous piety; if there is butter in it, he is a man of growing wealth; if there is pickle relish in it, he is a sick man.

Whoever sees a storage jar break in his hand will divorce his wife.
