Dream meaning · al-Nabulsi

Hornet (wasp) زنبور

In a dream it is a hostile enemy. It may indicate a builder, a tunneler and an engineer, a highwayman, one with unlawful earnings, and excessive merrymaking. It may also indicate eating or drinking poisons. The hornet is also a man from the rabble, fearsome, a spear-fighter, a man of war who stands firm in battle, and foolish. Whoever sees that hornets entered a village, town or quarter, soldiers who are feared and swift will enter it and fight the people openly. It is said that it is a man who argues falsely; it is said that hornets signify slanderers, informers and shedders of blood; and it is said that all hornets are a sign of people who have no mercy. The hornet signifies an evil man, and the sting of any hornet is harm from the lowest of people.

Whoever sees that he was handling a swarm of hornets will be dealing with the riffraff and people of no standing.
