Earthquake زلزلة

An earthquake in a dream signifies fear of a ruler. It is said that an earthquake in a particular place signifies a move and relocation. It is also said that an earthquake is an event that comes about from the supreme ruler: if it is general, the event is general; otherwise it concerns the place and the town singled out by the earthquake. If one sees one of the mountains quaking or trembling, or moving from its position and then settling back in its place, then the ruler of that place, or its great man, will be struck by hardship and great terror.

Whoever sees a land quake and swallow up a group of people in it while another group escapes, the ruler will descend upon that land and torment its people. It is also said that it is a severe illness. When an earthquake strikes a land, the king oppresses his subjects until they are bewildered and their secrets spread.

Whoever sees the earth quaking and the sky in turmoil, the people of that town will be punished by the ruler and struck in their persons and their wealth by sickness and disease. When a person sees the earth moving in a dream, it signifies movement in the dreamer's affairs and livelihood.

Whoever sees that the earth quaked, it is an affliction that will descend upon that land from its ruler, or locusts, or hail, or drought, or severe fear. An earthquake seen in a dream signifies alarm, rumors, disturbing news, and the exposure of secrets. If a pregnant woman sees it, she will deliver her child. An earthquake may signify people in turmoil because of illnesses with shivering fevers, while being spared from death; if walls collapse, there will be actual deaths. It may also signify that the dreamer will die. The shaking of barren land signifies its purification and its growth with crops, and it may signify the reviving of dead land. An earthquake also signifies a sea voyage and the swaying of the ship, from the word for tilting. It signifies dancing and merriment, and the halting of sea travel. An earthquake may also signify trouble from spouses. If it destroys houses, it may signify profits for builders, since they will be needed, along with the various tools they have. If the earthquake in the dream is in an orchard, it signifies abundant vegetation and abundant summer fruits, and it signifies strife among village people. If he sees it in a dream and the dream is in May (Ayyar), it signifies fighting among people and continuous strife, whether it is seen by night or by day. If he sees it and the dream is in June (Haziran), it is a sign of the destruction of the wicked; and if it is by day, it signifies renewed positions for scholars. If he sees it and that is in July (Tammuz), it signifies the death of a man of great standing. If he sees it and that is in August (Ab), it signifies an enemy coming to that land. If he sees it and that is in September (Aylul), it signifies a stranger coming to that land, and pains will occur there followed by mass death. If he sees it and that is in October (Tishrin I), it signifies illness, safety for pregnant women, and cheap grain. If he sees it and that is in November (Tishrin II), it portends miscarriages. If he sees it and that is in December (Kanun I), it signifies the outbreak of severe illness and death, along with safety from the enemy. If he sees it and that is in January (Kanun II), it signifies the death of young people. If he sees it and that is in February (Shubat), it signifies hunger and miscarriages. If he sees it and that is in March (Adhar), it is a sign of prosperity.
